Evolution:evolution is evidence for God,why?because you need guidance systems, now atheists will argue that we have natural selection, and fair enough, but a designer seems like a better explanation than chance for this, and the best explanation for why evolution with guidance systems like natural selection was guided and had and has guidance systems in the first place
now you might say ''no,just...no,that's why it has ''natural'' in its name, there was no designer''
well the idea that these guiding system and this evolution was natural is just an assumption you make and it seems to me like evolution and guidance systems are best explained by design.
Argument:
P1:If intellectually guided evolution happened, this intellectually guided evolution is best explained by an intelligent designer whom guided this process
P2:Intellectually guided evolution happened
C1:Therefore,this intellectually guided evolution is best explained by an intelligent designer whom guided this process.
And you see,we human beings cannot make other living things change their kind or just living things in general,so why could non intelligence?there was obviously someone who made this evolution happen.
we cannot make something as simple as an amoeba
btw,not even an amoeba is that simple,i mean the information an amoeba has is equivalent to 1000 volumes of encyclopedia.
Look,if there is no God and evolution did happen and it gave us our moral senses,(which are just illusions if God doesn't exist https://theism-examined.site123.me/arguments-defense-islam-etc/the-moral-argument) doesn't that mean it gave us everything including the thoughts in our own head?
and i mean if morality is false and it was given to us through evolution why should we believe that the other things given through evolution (the other things would mean basically everything) are true?
in this case how do we know the thoughts in our head are objectively free thought and objectively correct?
and i am just gonna put it in the way D. Wood from acts17apologetics put it:
in a case where God doesn't exist and evolution happened, does natural selection prefer philosophical insight?
mathematical skill?
scientific theories?
of course not, natural selection favors traits that help organisms survive and reproduce.
so if human reason evolved it's either because it helped us survive and reproduce.
or it's a complete biological accident.
would this give us any basis for trusting our reasoning ability when we deal with questions of theology, philosophy or cosmology?
no.
at best we can have some confidence in our cognitive faculties when it comes to finding berries,or using a spear against an enemy,or doing something to attract a mate.
reason would've been selected because it helped us to perform this task, not because it produced true beliefs.
There's a difference between the beliefs that help us find food,or a partner and beliefs about ultimate realities, the origin of the universe,or correct scientific methodology.
just because you can trust your system in one area (avoiding poisonous food by learning that others died because of it) that doesn't mean you can trust it in a far more sophisticated area like science,or avoiding logical fallacies.
