The “the laws of the universe and science explain everything already” argument:
1:science cannot answer the easy questions put by a child like “why are we here?what’s my purpose?”,so why would anyone believe science can explain everything?
2:saying that the laws of the universe explain already everything like “we can see how it works therefore we don’t need God” its just like saying “hey,i live in this computer, wow, look at the cpu,it processes and sends signals to control the other parts of the computer, here i have an explanation,so we don’t need men anymore as an explanation for the computer and that’s just because we have an explanation for the cpu and the other components”
Consistent atheists like Richard Dawkins say that they do not know how the universe began anyway,so just because you have some laws that you understand,it doesn’t mean you don’t need God anymore as an explanation,if you live in a computer, and you do not know the beginning of that computer, but you understand how the cpu and other components work, why does that mean you do not need men anymore as an explanation.
Even if it was true that science and the laws of the universe already explain everything and we don’t need God anymore as an explanation, that does not mean that God isn’t the explanation.
